Obtaining Market Information
Direct Access enables you to get quotes and market information provided by Citibank quickly and easily, so that you can make timely investment decisions.
For a quick snapshot on how the market is doing, select the Investment Services channel and click Market Indices from the task bar. You will see the current values of selected indices. You can then get a quote on a specific security, click Place Orders from the task bar to place an order to buy or sell securities in your Citicorp Investment Services brokerage account, or select another channel.
Note: Quotes received though Direct Access are provided by Citibank and are believed to be reliable. However, they can only be provided on a best efforts basis and their accuracy is not guaranteed by Citibank or any other Information Provider as defined in the Direct Access User Agreement.
return to menuYou can obtain a limited number of real-time quotes on securities. For example, if you wish to obtain a real-time quote on Company X's stock, click on the Investment Services channel, choose Quotes from the task bar, and click on Stocks in the work area. Then enter either the symbol or the company name and Direct Access displays the latest available quote. You can then request a quote on a different security, or select another choice from the task bar.
If you want more than one quote at a time, or want to track the performance of a number of securities at once, another convenient way to get quotes through Direct Access is to use the Portfolio Watch service. You can access this feature through the Information Center channel.

Portfolio Watch
Portfolio Watch is a free service brought to you by Citibank through Wall Street OnDemand. It provides timely information to help you track the progress of your investment portfolio.
It's as easy as specifying the stock(s) and/or mutual fund(s) you are interested in, and viewing an updated price (stock quotes are delayed at least 20 minutes) with automatic calculation of market value and your gain or loss. There is no limit to the number of portfolios you can track, and you can add a new portfolio or delete an existing portfolio at any time. You can track up to twenty securities in each portfolio. For more information, refer to the Using the Information Center section of this document.
